Don't get me wrong the new iPhone 4S is very useful and a major upgrade from the iPhone 3S that I had before. The most interesting new feature is the fact that with Siri, the personal assistant they have added a sense of humor. You can now ask your iPhone very useful things and give commands and it understands just about everything you say.

iPhone 4S is it worth the upgrade?
I went from an iPhone 3S and the change to the 4S is huge! Here is what I like the best:
- Can view email while listening to Pandora - multi tasking
- Can ask Siri questions and "she" understands almost everything
- Can ask Siri to call someone and she will
- Can ask Siri to send a text message and she will with almost no errors - you can manually edit
- I now have a video camera which the older iPhone didn't have
- Can ask questions in a normal way and it seems to understand for example - Will I need an umbrella Thursday in Miami Florida? - Siri will respond, Yes it might rain Thursday and then the iPhone 4S will display the weather.

She goes with me everywhere! I think everyone tries all these funny things when they first get the iPhone. Later you discover how useful it is to have Siri. For me the best thing is texting while driving without typing a word! Siri types for me while I talk. I don't even press a button to send, Siri asks if she should send. I wait until I'm at a traffic light and then check to be sure the text is correct and then I just say "send" and it gets sent. It is also very handy if you want call someone. You could say, "Call Joe" and if you have more than one person with that name it will name all three and ask which one. Then you may have a cell phone and office phone for the person and it will again ask which one. Once you answer then Siri makes the call for you. You never need to look at the phone.
I love how you can practice asking out someone then it rejects you lol xxxx
In response to the question about how Siri knows that Emily is his wife, this would be in the Contact list. You might have Emily listed as wife. Siri was setup to try to figure things out. For example I can say, "Will I need an umbrella in Fort Lauderdale two days from now" and Siri may respond with "Yes, there is a chance of rain" and it will show me the weather. The interesting thing is that my question doesn't mention rain or weather.
I don't get how on the advert he says tell my wife I'm going to make it, and then siri says your message to EMILY. How does Siri know EMILY is his wife ?????
Its so much fun! However, it is also very helpful to have Siri to type a text for me and send it. Siri on the iPhone 4S will get just about everything correct when you speak at a normal speed. The only thing I don't like is that I was an AT&T customer forever so I had an unlimited data plan. That was unlimited on the old iPhone. They only way they let me upgrade was with a new "unlimited" plan in which they have redefined the word "unlimited". So with the new iPhone 4S with Siri you are forced to pick from one of four "unlimited" plans.
