As the owner of a full service advertising agency in Florida I hear a lot of concerns small business owners have about social media marketing. We get our fair share of this type of business to handle on behalf of our clients and want to use this blog as a directory of social media marketing management companies. Twitter allows us only 140 characters so how long could this possibly take? Some websites may try to sell their services but at the same time they offer tips that you can use for free. If you are really new to this you might wonder about the cost of using each of these websites. They are all free and the only investment is your time. This issue of time is possibly the main reason that many small business owners won't get involved with social media. Many people feel like they are already spreading themselves too thinly and just can't commit to one more thing on their plate.

Social media marketing management companies can solve the issue of not having enough time. Then of course there is a cost to hire one of these companies but isn't it already costing you something to not be involved in social media marketing when your competitors already are involved?

You may wonder if this works for us only because we are an ad agency so people expect that we might make an intentionally bad video like this showing us holding cardboard signs. Try this, go to Youtube and type in a word or words that describe your business followed by the word "funny" and see what you find. Yes your competitors are already using Youtube to make funny videos. We say that something has gone viral when large numbers of people have seen it and people send it to their friends. This video gets viewed hundreds of times each month and that has been going on for years. So what! How does that help us? People see us as human and not just some big corporate ad agency. It works!
